Did you ever find out any information on Ruth Vail? My grandmother has 2 or 3 paintings by her and I was just in the process of trying to find information myself. One of her paintings is dated '47, but I don't know the name of it. Were you able to find any information on Ruth Vail? I'd love to know if you have any. Thanks.

I was told Ruth Vail is still alive and near 100 years old. Her studio was in Sea Girt, N.J. and has recently been sold, due to her daughter's death.
She was an artist also. This info was given to me by Cathy Weston of Weston Gallery, Manasquan, N.J.
I Met Ms.Vail and her daughter well over 30 years ago. I also have a painting of hers. Its of the Manasquan Inlet.

I have an oil painting of sea gulls on the shore. I think it is painted by Ruth Vail of the Manaquan area, though it is signed Ruth Voil 1961. She was a very popular artist in the shore area.It was given to me by my mother -n- law's cousin who apparently knew her. Do you have any info on "Ruth Voil'? Could this be the same woman?

I also have a painting of the Manasquan Inlet by Ruth Vail. I received it as a gift in 1979. I would like to know more about her.

For All Who Are Intrested Ruth Pass Away Last Week At 102. Her Son John Geieser Is My Neighbor And Owns A Small Farm Market On Newbedford Road In Wall Nj.
Her Obit Is In The Asbury Park Press This Week And Is Also In The Coast Star Paper In Manasquan Nj
