Info Needed: on tea set I have a tea set that was given me 20 years ago as a gift. The giver said it was antique but I can find no info on it.
The set design is an oriental person, colors: white, tan. the person's clothes are blue and burgundy with accents of orange and green design with gold accents. The teapot and creamer have turquise, irridescent serpant head and tail.
Can anyone shed some light on this set?

It is a 3 piece oriental tea set. The stamp on the bottom says Mepoco Ware/ Made in Japan. Has a H in circle on top left of this stamp.
