Re: Info Needed: THE AUTOMATIC RECORDING SAFE COMPANY I have the Traveling Teller, Patented April 26, 1904, July 4, 1905, April 25, 1911, Sept. 9, 1913 and September 23, 1913
Re: Info Needed: THE NATIONAL and AUTOMATIC RECORDING SAFE COMPANY I have one from the National Recording Safe Company, Chicago, IL that I recently purchased. I understand National was the predecessor to the American Recording Safe Company. Patent number dates it to 1905. And yep, I need a key to open it up and check out the few coins that are inside.
Any other information on these banks or the keys for these earlier versions would be appreciated.
I hope this helps ?
